This Privacy Policy explains what information Northvale Cloud collects and how we use it. We designed the Service to collect as little as possible.
Information we collect
- Account data: your email address and, for paid plans, billing details processed by our payment provider.
- Usage metadata: file sizes, timestamps, and device identifiers needed to sync and secure your data.
What we cannot see
Your file contents are encrypted on your device before upload. We store ciphertext only and cannot read your files.
How we use data
We use collected data to operate the Service, prevent abuse, provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Deleted files are purged from all replicas within 30 days.
Your rights
You may access, export, or delete your data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@northvale.cloud.
International transfers
Enterprise customers may choose a data residency region. Standard accounts are hosted in the EU.
